- I am getting my Commodore 64C and 128 after my Mom sold it to a
- neighbor. I can't wait. Anyhow, The 64C came with GEOS v1.3 and I was
- wondering what 2.0 does that 1.3 doesn't. I have a 128 also, so I was
- wondering about the GEOS software for the 128, too. I will most likely
- stick with the 64 version because of software support. I am planning on
- doing some serious upgrades on the machine such as a 14.4 or better
- modem, some serious RAM expansion, possibly the SuperCPU that I read
- about on this newsgroup (I really don't even know what it is supposed to
- do!), 3.5 Disk Drive (which is better CMD or Commodore's?) and a Hard
- Drive (how would I go about hooking up a H.D.?) Are there any companies
- that still support this machine, is Die Hard Magazine still in existence,
- how do you surf the net and fax with a Commodore, and are there any
- telecommunication networks that support C-64 like Q-Link? I know it is a
- lot to ask, but I loved my Commodore and want to learn more about it.
-
- Thanks,
